Get to know me …

If you are here, you probably are interested in getting to know me!

To be clear, I am not here to sell anything on this website. I am only here to shed some light on myself and my career.  I will leave the boring information about my education background till the end, and give you some highlights.

I am very passionate about TV and writing. All the roads that I chose led to my career in media. Fortunately,  the media field is precisely where I wanted to be.

I appreciate reading and keeping track of World news. To me, politics is my next-door neighbor, the one I play with chess every day, the never-ending game.

I keep searching for the meaning of life everywhere, in every detail, every experience. My search resembles a new parent who tries to make sense of their feelings when carrying their newborn baby—the parent's internal experience of mixed emotions, fears, hopes, aspirations, and desires. I try to understand life to display it on a screen. I am aware of how silly this might sound. How can I possibly display the complexities and intricacies of life on a screen?! It is like trying to figure out an older person's life stories by deciphering their face wrinkles.

I appreciate the diversity of people and the intersectionality of their identities. I think each of us is the hero of their own story, and each story deserves to be told.

My tools include a keyboard and a camera. For the past 20 years, I blend imagination and reality to write TV series and documentaries.

Passion for using words and portraying images will remain as long as we have stories to tell.
